High school test scores: Why do they still matter? What do you need to know about them?
Even if the college you are going to states that the ACT or SAT tests are optional, there may be other reasons to prep to earn a high score on the standardized tests. If you want merit aid from the college (i.e. free money!) you may be required to submit scores.
Standardized tests and even AP tests are all important because it represents the measurement of a students skills, and should be reinforcing your academic achievements so far.
